Appointment of Head Teacher

Head Teacher – Calderside Academy 

I write to inform you that following a rigorous recruitment process, Ms Julie Calder, currently Head of Education at Renfrewshire Council, has been appointed as Head Teacher of Calderside Academy. 

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the representatives of the Parent Council who worked so effectively in partnership with the South Lanarkshire Council team throughout the selection process. 

I know that parents and carers will enjoy a happy and productive relationship with the school under Ms Calder’s leadership. We will update you on her start date as soon as possible.
